Recipe of the Month - Brownie Spider Bites

Hello October! Hello spooky season! We hope this recipe finds you knee deep in pumpkins, Halloween movie marathons and of course, some festive holiday baking. And while pumpkin spice everything has taken over the grocery stores, we’re here to tempt you with a slightly more terrifying treat.

Meet our Brownie Spider Bites. Made with our Belly Collagen Brownie Mix, these friendly spiders are the perfect addition to your next fall party or kids' lunchbox. Martha Stewart has nothing on you!

What You'll Need

1 Package - Belly Collagen Brownie Mix

2 Eggs

1/2 C Butter or Oil, melted

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

1 C pretzels

1 scoop of vanilla frosting

Sprinkles (Optional!)

Instructions:

Begin by preheating your oven to 350 F. Spray a 12-count muffin tray with nonstick spray.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the eggs, butter/oil and vanilla extract. Whisk to combine. Add one package of Belly Collagen Brownie Mix. Stir to combine.

Spoon the batter evenly into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup approximately 2/3 full.

Bake the brownies for approximately 20-24 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Remove brownies from oven and allow to cool completely before removing them from the tray. While the brownies cool, break apart the pretzels to form long, rounded legs.

There will be some trial and error! They don't have to be perfect. Place one scoop of vanilla frosting into a piping bag or Ziplock.

Once the brownies have cooled and been removed from the muffin tin, insert four pretzel legs on each side of the brownie. Pipe two eyes onto each brownie, and top each with a sprinkle eyeball (optional).

Serve and enjoy!
